Kelly Engleka has over 15 years progressive experience recruiting executive roles (C-Suite/VP) across virtually every industry and function. Prior to starting her professional career, she had extensive management experience with two of the Nation’s largest retailers.
Kelly started at Harvard Group in 2005 and in less than a year earned the promotion to Senior Recruiter in the organization. She cut her teeth recruiting for engineers and sales executives for clients like Pratt & Whitney, Black & Veatch, and Rolls Royce Energy. In addition to being a seasoned recruiter, Kelly is also a Managing Director with HGI, having over three years of external business development experience in the retained search format. With a holistic perspective, she has touched on all facets of the business while focusing on growth and driving performance initiatives. She is adept at crafting long-term strategies and executing on a tactical level.
Kelly has worked with hundreds of clients across numerous industries and various functions. She has placed a diverse group of executives in industries such as PE/JV, Finance & Banking, Sports & Entertainment, Nonprofit, Manufacturing, and Higher Education with clients that include Susan G. Komen, Make-A-Wish, Synchrony Financial, Winnebago, ServiceMaster, Kiva, Wrigley, Del Monte, Michelin, San Juan Community College, and Webster University. She has a unique ability to interface well cross-culturally and perform quickly on high priority searches, including working with many top executives in Fortune 500 organizations. Additionally, she has experience sourcing and creating relationships with executives internationally, having completed successful searches in Mexico and Brazil.
Kelly received her education from West Virginia Wesleyan College, where she graduated with a Bachelor’s of Arts in English, magna cum laude, with a dual minor in Religion and Music. She is an avid athlete having run two full marathons and over 40 half marathons, and competed in the 2016 World Kickboxing Association championships. She currently resides in Atlanta with her rescue dog, Blitzen.
