• Provide leadership for Process Control Engineering organization
• Assist in planning and implementing department goals and objectives
• Support maintenance and operating personnel to take full advantage of the capabilities offered by company distributed control systems and quality control systems
• Provide support for capital project planning and implementation
• Assist E/I supervision in establishing maintenance procedures and schedules for process control systems
• Work closely with mill technical and production personnel in planning, designing and developing new process control applications and improvements
• Safe from the Start: Participate in department safety assessments and work in a proactive manner to identify, correct and coach unsafe conditions or actions that are observed

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electrical or Chemical Engineering preferred), or combination of post-secondary education and related experience
• Working knowledge of mill DCS/QCS systems and networking
• Working knowledge of mill data systems, data gathering techniques and statistics
• Demonstrated leadership experience
• Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization and work in a team environment
• Interest and ability to work downtime days, holidays and weekends as necessary (operations are 24/7 production)

This position will be based out of Michigan. This is a full-time position that is available for immediate hire. A meaningful compensation package will be developed for the successful candidate that will include a base salary, performance bonus, comprehensive benefits and, if needed, a relocation assistance package.
